Virtual Piano

During tap recording, Yass Reloaded can use the top keyboard rows as a virtual piano. The exact layout depends on the active keyboard mapping:

  • QWERTY
  • QWERTZ
  • AZERTY

You can review and configure keyboard-related behavior in:

  • Extras -> Preferences... -> Editor -> Keyboard

Notes

  • Some shortcuts behave slightly differently depending on focus, selection, and active panel.
  • Mouse gestures and wheel actions also play an important role in the editor, especially in the sheet.
  • The absolute pitch workflow adds several navigation behaviors that go beyond the older classic help pages.
  • This page is based on the current Yass Reloaded keybindings, not just the legacy Yass help text.
